WHAT IS YOUR OPINION OF READERS WHO SOLELY USE INTUITION AND NOT THE TRADITIONAL DECK MEANINGS?
Who am I to have anything to say about anyone else’s practice?
While I do tend to think that having a base knowledge of the traditional meanings of the cards is an important jumping off point for intuitive readings, not everyone needs that, and that’s fine!
I would assume that readers who don’t use traditional meanings at all are very *very* in tune with their intuition and probably form strong bonds with their decks anyway. And most decks give so much imagery to work with.. even if you’ve never known anything about tarot EVER, you’re going to look at three swords stabbed into a heart and probably get the gist of what that card means lol The cards are just giving you something to focus on.
Bottom Line: As long as the message is received, the method doesn’t matter so much.
